All courses usually begin the second week of the month as listed above. However, students will be notified of the specific start/end dates during enrollment. Legal holidays include: New Year's Day and Week, Martin Luther King's Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Week. Classes will be extended on a per-day basis to accommodate holidays. In the event of inclement weather, it is the students' responsibility to call the Institute for class closings or rescheduling information at 410-628-2237 extension 274.


Day Classes: Daytime classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. or from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A student will attend class an average of four days a week (16 hours). A student may choose up to 2 concurrently running courses if there is not a schedule conflict. However, a student must properly fulfill the prerequisites for each course, thus defining the order in which courses may be taken.


Evening Classes: Evening classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. A student may choose up to 2 concurrently running courses if there is not a schedule conflict. However, a student must properly fulfill the prerequisites for each course, thus defining the order in which courses may be taken.


+FT PROGRAM DURATION:


AudioWorks -- 22 to 25 weeks
VideoWorks -- 19 to 22 weeks
TechWorks -- 27 to 30 weeks
Careers in TV/Radio -- 21 to 23 weeks

+PT PROGRAM DURATION:


AudioWorks -- 46 to 49 weeks
VideoWorks -- 39 to 42 weeks
TechWorks -- 50 to 53 weeks
Careers in TV/Radio -- 37 to 39 weeks
